Construction Equipment Salesperson
The Construction Equipment Salesperson will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will be instrumental in achieving the locations business plan through profitable revenue generation. Excellence in this challenging and rewarding position paves the way for advancement into other key Company positions.
Responsibilities Include:
• Increase sales and location revenue.
• Developing new accounts with customers that do not have an account and driving profitable revenue on parts and service.
• Establishing new and used equipment sales accounts with customers that do not have an account through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer sites.
• Offering a full range of products and services to new customers, including other specialty product lines and the sale of rental equipment.
• Coordinating with all location departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educating customers about equipment through demonstration.
• Promotion of Precision Farming products including Precision Guidance to all customers. All guidance demonstrations/sales will be coordinated through the Precision Guidance department.
• Promotion of Company Winter Service Program to all customers.
• Develop Customer Sales Plan based on Sales Territory quadrants.
• Develop Customer relationships based on excellent Customer Service.
• Event participation at all Ag Shows, Open House, and specialty events.
• All Duties/Responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications:
Superior customer service remains the backbone of N&S Tractor, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a top-notch candidate. To be qualified the ideal candidate will have 3 years of sales experience, strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficient computer skills. Knowledge of Agriculture/Construction or related equipment is preferred however candidates with comparable industry experience, a strong sales acumen and a record of achievement will also be considered. We are also looking for candidates who are independent and possess strong teamwork and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. Candidates will be subject to: Background Check, Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Screening, and Motor Vehicle report.
