Utility Person

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Utility Person to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization across offices, shops, storefronts, vehicles, and outdoor grounds. This hands-on role also supports daily operations, light maintenance, and occasional technician assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, storefronts, and shop areas daily.
• Empty trash, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
• Ensure restrooms are stocked with supplies and kept sanitary.
• Clean windows and glass doors weekly.
• Maintain shop organization, including floors, tools, manuals, and equipment.
• Address oil spills, waste disposal, recycling, and filter handling per procedures.
• Maintain yard areas, fence lines, and building grounds.
• Move dumpsters for weekly servicing and return to proper locations.
• Clean, fuel, and inspect company vehicles; report any damage.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including lighting repairs and equipment care.
• Assist technicians and other departments as needed.

Additional Duties (As Needed)

• Paint buildings, poles, or fenced areas.
• Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, or equipment.
• Transport employees or company vehicles.
• Deliver equipment to sales or demo locations.
• Assist parts department when authorized.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license (required).
• Ability to perform physical labor indoors and outdoors.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented.
