N&S Tractor is a Case IH agriculture equipment dealership located in California and Oregon with 13 locations and is offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager ready to grow their career with a leader in the Agriculture Industry. Essential Requirements:

 

  • Existing relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Leads the development and implementation of a Comprehensive Sales Strategy, long-term plans that integrates the Company business values, mission, resources, and goals.
  • Manage and coaches’ Sales Professionals to implement the Sales Process to be consistent between all Store Locations and with all Vendors.
  • Develops, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Sales Department Processes across all Locations to ensure consistent internal and external Customer Satisfaction as well as Sales Department Efficiencies.
  • Develops and creates commissions and incentive plans for the Sales Team and our Customer Base.
  • Creates Annual Sales Department goals to include: Market share, profitability, etc. Budgets for the entire Organization, in alignment with the Organization’s Financial and Operational objectives.
  • Achieves Asset Turn Goals and oversees New and Used Company Wholegoods inventory levels.
  • May implement a Customer Relationship Process that will achieve and maintain Dealership Loyalty and Customer growth.
  • Ensures appropriate communication with Customers, Sales Staff, other Departments and Vendor Personnel.
  • Directs and advises recruiting, staffing and Employee Development efforts for the Company Sales Department.
  • Defines and Manages the strategy for New and Used Company Wholegoods Inventory which includes: Maintaining proper Wholegoods inventory levels and ordering program utilization.
  • Identifies and executes Best Practices throughout the Sales Department.
  • Works with Corporate Aftermarket Manager to promote Customer Satisfaction.
  • Works with Corporate Aftermarket Manager in the effort to develop, implement and follow the processes to PDI and make ready for sale both New and Used Equipment.
  • Works with the Service Managers at each Location on processing Equipment through the Service Departments in a timely manner and in processing needed Warranty work through the Service Departments.
  • Oversees the Management of the Sales Department’s Wholegoods inventory to include Sales Vehicles and Sales Office Equipment.
  • Work with Sales Team to evaluate and value the trade in product and assure that it is recorded properly on our books.
  • Analyze Used Equipment Values and works with Corporate Management to adjust Equipment Values and needed.
  • Works with Marketing department to develop marketing plan for the store or region under management.
  • Responsible for all Sales Metrics/Budgets for Company Wholegoods Sales Department.
  • Directs the Wholegoods Sales Team regarding strategy, long-term planning, and consistent Sales Processes.
  • Attracts, retains, and effectively coaches Sales Personnel.
  • Works directly with the Sales Staff to grow Sales, increase Margins and or reduce Expenses.
  • Works closely with the Vendors to maximize their support of their product and exact from the Vendor Programs to maximize the value and minimize the cost of the product.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • 5+ years Sales Management experience
  • Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and in a group setting.
  • Familiar with Case IH, AGCO, and other Vendors to include competitive products.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Excellent understanding of Financial Principles relative to Sales Department Operations.
  • Ability to use Case IH, AGCO and other Vendors Sales Computer Applications and tools.
  • Ability to produce, analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Ability to teach and coach Sales Professionals on selling techniques and Sales Processes.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
