Sub-Soiler

Destroy Layers

The Great Plains Inline Sub-Soiler is another step in the evolution of our vertical tillage family designed to eliminate yield-robbing compaction layers created by horizontal tillage tools such as plows, disks, and sweep implements.

The Inline Sub-Soiler’s frame features high-tensile 3/8" wall tubing for added strength and durability. Sub-Soilers are available in 24", 30", 36", 38", or 40" shank spacings and from 7 shanks on 36", 38", or 40", up to 12 on 24". Choose from two shank options: ¾" and 1¼". The ¾" no-till shank and no-till point provide maximum shatter with minimum surface disturbance. The 1¼" straight leg shank creates more surface disturbance for minimum tillage.

SHANK OPTION: SHEAR BOLT WITH 1¼" STRAIGHT SHANK
Available with either 2" or 7" points. Will not only fracture under the surface, but will create more surface disturbance.
SHANK OPTION: AUTO RESET WITH ¾" SPRING STEEL SHANK
Our exclusive 10" no-till point minimizes soil disturbance while creating maximum fracture below the surface.
BERM CONDITIONER ATTACHMENT
Designed to firm the soil after density layers are reset by the Sub-Soiler shanks.
ADJUSTABLE GAUGE WHEEL
A screw jack makes adjusting the gauge wheels simple and easy.
Exclusive Maintenance-Free Bearings
Great Plains uses the exclusive PEER® TILLXTREME® Maintenance-Free Pillow-Block Bearings in its gangs, as well as smaller TILLXTREME Maintenance-Free Bearings in its rolling attachments.
